Figma plugin

The Kitbitz plugin brings the public illustration catalog into Figma. It is a read-only catalog browser: it does not change library metadata, require an account or upload document contents.

Install the plugin

Open Kitbitz on Figma Community and select Open in... or Run from a Figma design file.

Insert an illustration

  1. Search the catalog or select a themed kit.
  2. Select an illustration to inspect it and see similar assets.
  3. Insert SVG for editable vector layers or PNG for a bitmap image.

When a kit is selected, Get Figma kit opens its published Figma Community file. New content is placed beside the current selection when possible, or in the center of the viewport when nothing is selected.

Data and network access

The plugin downloads the public catalog and fetches illustration files for visible previews and insertion. It has no accounts or analytics and does not upload document contents. A compressed cached catalog provides a limited offline fallback.

Illustrations inserted through the plugin retain their CC0 license.

Hand-drawn illustrations. Small pieces, whole worlds.
